The new academic year is quickly approaching and Lancaster University Ballet Society have just recieved their floor space allocations!!! Keep reading to find out what these are ...
Classes will resume in Week 1 (the week after fresher's week) and they will be on the following:
Monday: Ballet Classes
These classes our with our professional male ballet teacher, George Adams. he teaches classical ballet classes along with a bit of a contemporary twist. The classes teach the importance of techique and are great for beginners or for those wanting to maintain their ballet technique.
Our classes are welcome to all and we have a beginner and an advanced class each week.
Beginners class: 6-7pm
Advanced class: 7-8pm
Both these classes are in the Playroom in the Great Hall Complex and cost £4 each or £6 for both.
Wednesday: Fitness and Flexibility Classes
These classes are taught by one of our societies executive members and aim to be a relaxed and fun environment to imporve fitness and flexibility using exercises to strengthen and work the core as well as using stretching exercises to imporve or maintain flexibility. These classes are open to anybody and everybody.
Class: 6-8pm (although may not always use all of this time)
These classes cost £1.50
